no, it's not a joke...Glenn316 is rather new here and this being a "Christian" website I'm sure he expected a different response and sincerely thought he was doing the right thing...

and I'm absolutely positive he didn't post it to see what the self proclaimned athesits or pagans would have to say about it

I'm also pretty sure that those mentioned above get far better treatment here than Christians do on boards slanted toward those directions...

Well, if you're sure, why should I even bother to counter your claim? I don't have to mention that CF is the only biased (either way) message board that I know of that censors us, because you're pretty sure.
Anyway, the News and Current Events subtitle distinctly says, "Christians and NON-CHRISTIANS". I would expect our friend Glenn to notice that.

Ah, another for whom "Christian" and "liberal" are mutually exclusive terms. You might be surprised to know, Glenn316, that many of the most thoughtful posters on this site are liberal Christians.

As for the ACLJ and their petition...thanks but no thanks. I too prefer the original version of the Pledge.

Actually, you've stepped into reality where the terms 'liberal' and 'Christian' are by no means disjoint.

You and your house have the religous freedom to serve the lord, but you don't have the right to force that servitude onto others.
