That they (like a lot of Christians for that matter) haven't really understood Christian morality. A real Christian morality should make one ask "why on earth would somebody live like that?" to which the only suitable response is "because Christ is risen from the dead and New Creation has begun".What would you say to people who agree with Christian morality, yet have a hard time believing in God and Jesus Christ?
First post here, i'll try and place nice by the rules.
Why do you need to believe to support the moral code of Christianity? The moral code outlined by most interpretations of Christianity are worthy things shared by most people in the world regardless of their religion.
Why not try and be a good person without the need for a god? If belief comes it should come naturally and without being forced.
Before you reach that stage though I would recommend you also spend some time on other forums speaking to atheists, deists, agnostics, pagans, Muslims, etc, in order to find what world view fits best with your beliefs.
