SPOILERS AHEAD!

The creature was a Windigo, a creature from Native American mythology. According to the boys, Windigos usually hang out in the Upper Great Lakes region, so they were surprised to see one so far west. The boys explained that Windigos are once humans, and that they become Windigos when they are driven to near starvation and resort to eating human flesh. By doing so, they acquire the power of their victims and become evil. The boys speculated that this one probably was a miner or pioneer cut off from his group and resorted to cannibalism to survive.

Yeah, the episode last night wasn't scary at all. I was thinking maybe that would happen after the first show. I'm glad I kept watching!

We're both from the Dallas area....Richardson to be exact. We both graduated from Berkner High School. He is a really nice guy, it's funny cause about a year ago my family went to an old hamburger joint and him and his family were there. He was wearing this hat and sun glasses.....I knew exactly who he was.

This is cool Jensen is from Richardson and Jared is from San Antonio. When was the last time the two main characters of a show were Texans? I need to add Jensen to my Lone Star Stars site.

There's an Indian legend about a man and a Wendigo, only it's not nearly as freaky as last night (which scared the willies out of me. I hate it when you never see the creature until the end, or barely see it. I really like Signs because of that exact reason. You never really SEE the Alien.). The Wendigo just ends up going into the night after it gets warmed up and then howling like a human. Charmed also has a Wendigo episode which is bizarre, but I don't know alot about Native American mythology. What about next weeks Episodes clippets? It's like The Ring, Dark Water, and Jenny Greenteeth all rolled into one. I can hardly wait!

I jumped during the first one. The second episode isn't as scaring, it's more creepy. Who is the guy who plays Dean? I have a major crush on him now.

I have set my VCR to tape the show every week. Sometimes my schedule doesn't allow me to catch it live. After the first two episodes, this show has made my list of shows that I don't want to miss.

Dunno who plays Dean, but that Sam sure is a cutie! Lol. And I agree. Supernatural is now on my "Can't Miss" List. I can't wait until the next Episode. If it is what I think it might be it's either a malevolent water spirit like Jenny Greenteeth or maybe an Ushtey or Each Uisge, perhaps a jaded nyad, or a Japanese Kappa which is a water demon. Either way it should be good.

I watched the last half of the Dead in the Water episode the other night with hubby. That was enough to freak me out for a day or 2.

Yeah, the first one definately was the most freaky. The other ones haven't really been that much compared to the first one. I'm so glad I kept watching even thought the first one creeped me out.
