Have Faith in the Existence of the Supernatural
The first step to experiencing the supernatural is to have faith in the supernatural. You must believe in the existence of supernatural things.
The natural man would have done all of his tests and analysis. As a doctor, I also believe in scientific testing, but there is a limit to what scientific tests can prove. You cannot use a scientific test to understand the origin of this world. You cannot use your mind to analyze the origin of God. There is a point at which, sense-knowledge ceases to be useful. When you arrive at the frontier of human knowledge, step out in faith and believe in the existence of the supernatural.

Have Faith in Supernatural Methods
Another thing you must believe in, are the methods of the supernatural. Being a medical doctor myself, I can understand the difficulty some people would have in the workings of the Holy Spirit. If somebody has a tumor, you operate on the person and cut it out. This is easy to appreciate.

This is what the world can still accept as a "miracle." It is a word that society can understand and will still (mostly) admit to being possible.

I know I have seen miracles in my life, especially in the medical sphere! I am by no means a doctor, but I've seen God do things that have baffled doctors. For instance, I was a nanny last year to a family who have three children, but should only have had two. The mother was pregnant in February, and then her water broke in May. The doctors told her and her husband to return home and plan for a funeral, because there was a 1% chance he would survive. When they returned the next morning, her water started to repair itself. God's hand, clear and evident.

After three months of bedrest, two and a half of which were in the hospital, she delivered a baby boy six weeks earlier than his due date, and he is incredibly healthy, and happy, to this day.

His middle name is Chance, because he had a 1% chance. It changed the mother's view of life, and her belief in God was strengthened and proved. It truly is amazing!!
