Super Smash Bros Brawl

YAY! first off, Super smsah bros brawl for Wii comes out TOMORROW. But all that aside

1. Who likes Smash bros in general?
2. Who will be getting smash bros Brawl?

I LOVE the games, and cant wait to pick up the next game in the series, it's due to be great. The best ever.

Anyways, I'd love to play some of y'all on wifi if you get it!

and for those who ARe interested in the game, who is your faavorite character? And who are you planning on using most?

I got it at midnight after the tourney at Gamestop. It's MASSIVE. I now hoave NO life whatsoever.

I used to use Link, trying some other characters now. Haven't decided on a fave yet. I may use Marth if only 'cause he has a Japanese voice set.

From what I've played of it, it seems to strike a balance between the original and Melee at least as far as speed goes...N64 was way slow, while Melee was way fast.

Some of the Final Smash attacks are downright unbalanced, especially Olimar's. About 40 near-guaranteed damage to EVERYONE, plus a near-guaranteed area-of-effect instant kill after that. Lucas' is pretty nuts too.

I think Final Smash is just another factor in evaluating a character's strengths. Some characters have pretty bad final smashes. Some have awesome ones but their regular usage may not be as good.

We got our copy this past Wednesday, and got a review up on our site before GameSpot had theirs up.

Got it the day it came out in the States. Went to Circuit City before church Sunday morning. First day of Day Light Saving Time, see, so we didn't get much sleep. My brother, cousin, and I, woke up at 6:00, and got there at 8 waiting for it to open. Turns out, Circuit City opens at 10:00.

So, we went home, went to church, came back and got it afterwards. We haven't unlocked everyone yet, but we've gotten most everyone.

I love playing Olimar, Lucas, R.O.B., Wario, and Samus, but I'm only really good as Lucas.

Have all the chars unlocked, most of the Events done, made about 23 stages....

smash brothers is a fun series I have the one for gamecube and currently unlocking the characters. I dont have a wii so i cant get brawl yet
