I didn't watch the show. Just read the book a little and quit.

I can tell you that it has a great start. The story flow is not bad. It does get a bit tedious after a while.

The DBZ series? Just read a summery or something lol.

I love it but it's the biggest waste of time. At least watch it in fast forward or something. They just stand/hover with nothing actually happening for the majority of it.
