You mean politicians have not been using money to influence the crowd with bread and circuses for thousands of years? Is money paid to politicians in exchange for favorable treatment really so new to this brave new world of ours?

Seriously, this stuff probably started happening right after the first profession started up. But if you want to keep trying to connect super pac to Newt and make it look like he's a devious evil mastermind then don't let me spoil your fun.

When did I mention Newton? These SuperPACs have sprung up in support of ALL the candidates. I'm sure there is one for Obama and just as sure there is one for Paul. There is no limit on donations and no accountability for what's said by them. That is what makes them dangerous. Just in my humble opinion of course...

I beg to disagree ... progressive income tax was never designed to be fair.

Many middle income and upper-middle income households pay 25% to over 30%
Most upper income individuals pay less than 15%


I'm thinking NOT fair ... progressive income tax never has been fair ... never will be fair

It's like a shell game where it is difficult to track who gives what to whom.

Israel wants war with Iran, Gingrich talks of war with Iran and that Iranian scientists should be murdered, so Israel can fund Gingrich campaign through nontransparent proxy casino mogul.

Because SuperPACs don't necessarily back any single candidate, many PACs are "issue oriented". For example, there might be a group that wants more morality in government that ends up backing Christian candidates. Or there might be a PAC that is pro health care and buys ads to promote certain health issues that the government is considering.
