Yeah, it's the only way... It's physically impossible to go all the way through the game in that short of time... I haven't seen the link, but I bet you they had the "P"s you get from beating Bowser the previous time...... Or something like that, though it's the way to go on timing

Yeah, it is pretty impressive. I saw a move I never saw before, too. If I ever hook up my SNES again, I'll play it. I think it is among my favorite Mario games. That guy was also good at "turtle tapping"... a phrase a friend of mine coined (I think). When you keep jumping on the enemy without touching the ground. Really racks up those 1UPs.

I would love to know how long it would take the fellow to beat the game if he didn't use the Whistles.

It was impressive! Personally it takes me hours and hours to get to the end, but I don't use whistles because I like all the levels in between Of course, it's been awhile since I played it through... a long while. Maybe I'll break out the SNES for a nostolgia night tonight

t's quite easy if you have the two warp wistles, and stars; maybe a coon tale to boot... But there's nothign really to it

My record: 28.

I bet you money that I could do it in under 15 minutes if I had a couple of hours to practice.
