  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think that's cool that you know that girl---well, mutually anyway. My aunt lives down the street from where they film the OC, so she sees those people all the time... I'm not a fan of the OC, so it's no big deal to me, but yeah.

The show is about this lady who lives with her friends on the beach... then one day her sister and bro-in-law were killed in a car wreck and her two nephews and neice come to live with her and her friends. So it's a lot about these kids/teens who are trying to cope with their parents' death as well as moving to a new area... and about these adults who all of a sudden have to be parents but are practically clueless.

It's actually a really good show... even compared to a lot of the other "teen dramas" Summerland is one of the better ones (even when it comes to content).

Well I for one am very glad that Ava didn't say yes to Simon because she and Johnny have so much chemistry that it oozes off the screen! And deep down I think she knows that she just wouldn't be able to make it without him.

Jay and Erika on the other hand have some problems that need to be sorted out. I don't see them settling down anytime soon. Im glad that she left him and doesn't want to live with him.

Braden and Callie are cute. I think Cameron really likes Nikki he is just really really afraid. He is in a vulnerable point in his life just like Nikki is ~ both have suffered the loss of a parent or parents and they need to be friends to get through it but it is just gonna take time.

The little boy is cute. And Im glad to have seen the kids mourn over the loss of their parents.

And Ava and her friend are having issues to say the least. I think she was to be partners with Ava but wants to have the BIG CAREER too. While Ava has moved on with the new assistant.

Guess we will have to wait until next year to see what is going to happen.

I missed the first half of the season finale, but, and while I was starting to thnk Summerland was a lil shallow, that whole scene with the kids going through their parents' belongings just hit me hard. It was amazing.... my opinion of the show is wayyy better now!
