Saying "it's just discourse, rhetoric," is not a reason, it's a blind assertion. All you have provided are the very "mere words" you eschew.

I'm not asserting something exists in actual reality.
I'm just pointing out a problem in arguments that try to do exactly that.

Apologetics ARE just discourse and rhetoric.
It's what makes an argument an "apologetic argument".

If that were true you would be an apologist par excellence. You have given no argument or reason for your claims against apologetics. All you provide are so-called "discourse and rhetoric."
