None of you seem to understand the word "compassion" or "love". You would rather be pedantic and picky.

None of you? Yes, of course, Maccie is the ONLY compassionate (whatever that means) one.

We are discussing hurting people, in desperate situations. I prefer to approach the problem with love. You would rather be cold, comfortless and pedantic. That is your choice.

We are discussing people who are in serious danger of both death and Hell and all you want to do is sit around "listening" and actin g like you are "comassionate." You rebuke someone who takes the situation as urgent and warns the person of the consequesnses, yet you have NO REBUKE for two people who state that they think a suicide will end up in Heaven. What could be less compassionate than encouraging them to "go to Heaven"?

What would be the benefit to ending this thread? Would the suicidal individual be saved by the post coming to an end? Don't we want to keep this alive?

What are your definitions of love and compassion?

I feel as though there are several excellent posts on here with sound Biblical advice. What if the individual wants to know the Biblical Christian point of view?

The world would offer the counter-response to what God's desire is. The world tells us that we have no purpose in life, our life isn't valuable and there is nothing after death, no heaven, no hell...just nothing. It's called the theory of evolution and it's a lie from the devil to steal, kill and destroy life. This idea promotes suicide. If there's no God, then we're an accident. No purpose to live. No penalty for sins after death. This is a lie that we cannot allow.

I would concern myself less with Christian posts in this forum and be more concerned with the issues of the world attacking our firm foundation. That is our enemy, not our brothers and sisters who are only trying to help.

There is little compassion or love in an individual who is not concerned with another human's eternal welfare.
