Yesterday, 2 March 04, There was a student suicide at the school i attend. I ask that you all say a prayer for the school, all his friends, and ultimately, his family. It appears to have been a girlfriend breaking up with him that pushed him over. I almost started crying at the thought that I could have gotten to him with the message of Christ, before satan won his battle. So just pray that God would ease our pain. Thanks prayer warriors.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That is awful. I pray for you and the friends this young man had. I also pray for the girlfriend, that she will not feel responsible and can handle the grief. God bless you,

Lord I lift up all concerned in prayer and ask that You hold each person in Your arms. Lord, cover them with Your love, peace and hope. I ask for Your Holy anointing over this school, family and friends. Carry all those that are hurting through this storm. In the name of Jesus "Amen".
