really explain your conviction based on loyalty to GOd. When the israelites stood firm beside GOD and chose to stay with Moses and the others turned their backs. The Levites inherited the honored task of offering sacrifices at the "ark of the covenant" The others were slain. We as Christians must make sacrifices, stand firm no matter what happens. I believe this sacrifice will be rewarded. Let the world have the world I want to inherit a NEW kingdom. I suffer in humility and grace in the eyes of GOD. AMEN I hope this helps friend.

I can tell you what I do on the Sabbath after church and maybe that will help.

I like to watch 3ABN. They have alot of good SDA programs. If I can't find anything I like, I watch a video that I have brought home from church.

Also, I read the Bible or a book by Ellen White. I like to go for a walk with my children and the dogs if the weather is good.

Sometimes we pack a lunch and take the kids fishing for the afternoon.

We stay away from secular TV, which means no news for me. That is kind of hard because I love to watch the news channels.

The really best thing about the Sabbath for me is: no cleaning, no laundry, no running the vacuum, and I don't feel guilty about it.

If I have had a busy week and the weather is bad, I take a nap.

Well, one of the things that I would suggest is to be around friends or family members after church is over. I personally do that. Plus, study the bible with my friends. Sometimes, I go to a jewish messianic synagog and worship with them. I mean... there are soooo many things that you can do on a sabbath (except working, lol)

A suggestion of something you could do is to find Sabbath activies that could involve your family. Something they would enjoy and find fun so they can see that keeping the Sabbath is not just about not being able to do things. It may not be possible to do something every week, but every now and then you could. Continually pray to God for help and guidance on this issue and also for your family.

Have you asked any of the members of your church what to do? Would any of them be willing to find something to do with you by yourself or with your family?

ok i try to keep the Sabbath but the thing is im the only Sabbath keeper in my house and when i get home from church i dont know what to do and i get alot of temptations to break the Sabbath and i was wanderin what i could do thanks

i don't know your exact situation so i won't suggest what you can do to keep the Sabbath. But i'll like to suggest what you can do to stay motivated to keep the Sabbath. The essential act that we must do is to make an effort to know Christ better. When we know Christ better, we would admire Him more and want to be like Him and follow His ways. If you haven't read Desire of Ages, read it! It has changed my life and helped me develop a deeper relationship with Christ.
