Any of the Gundam series you would probably enjoy. I liked the movies Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell . One warning I want to give you about anime though be carefule when switching from TV shows to DVD and Manga because of editing rescripting the shows shown on the networks aren't always the same as the orginal anime.LiannaLeigh said:They look like pretty cool stuff but I have no idea which to buy. That about sums up the basic plot, but it's a lot deeper than that, getting into these events that happened to Lucy and Kouta when they were kids, and some psychological or otherwise heavy material - split personalities, repressed memories, sexual abuse, etc.Saint_Dragon_God_Osiris said:Plot Summary: The Diclonius, a mutated homo sapien that is said to be selected by God and will eventually become the destruction of mankind, possesses two horns in their heads, and has a "sixth sense" which gives it telekinetic abilities. Due to this dangerous power, they have been captured and isolated in laboratories by the government. Lucy, a young and psychotic Diclonius, manages to break free of her confines and brutally murder most of the guards in the laboratory, only to get shot in the head as she makes her escape. She survives and manages to drift along to a beach, where two teenagers named Kouta and Yuka discovers her. Having lost her memories, she was named after the only thing that she can now say, "Nyuu," and the two allow her to stay at Kouta's home. However, it appears that the evil "Lucy" is not dead just yet...
The manga isn't licensed, but it is being scanlated, if that helps any. The anime was licensed by ADV and it's already been completely released Stateside.FoogieFighters said:I just might have to check out that manga then
