This post is informational only to share what CC modding staff has been doing and thinking of late - it is closed to responses.
Last evening FlagLady began a thread explaining the new forum wide rules and clearly defining the expectations for CC. She has been most gracious answering questions in the thread "New day, new ground rules. Since that time there have been posts in multiple threads that resulted in reports - many of which were violations of the new rules & directives. Most, but not all of the reported posts were made after FlagLady's announcement, so members were aware of the possible repercussions.
CC Staff has shown grace by not issuing warnings/infractions. As a benefit to you of that grace some posts and/or threads have been unapproved or closed. We want members to get their questions answered - but at the same time see no reason for continued criticism of ourselves or of staff above us. So you need to be aware that the grace period is going to be short and sweet. We won't be taken advantage of and if folks want to continue posting in absolute defiance of the new rules then, as per FlagLady's post, the future of CC may well be in jeopardy.
If that happens there are members here who will only have to look in the mirror to see why.
