Miracle....it's based on a true story, of when the US ice hockey team beat the unbeatable Russian team against all odds...the coach, at the very end gives an indication of Who he thanks for the power to rise against such odds. Excellent movie.

"House" - I haven't seen the movie but I've read the book by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker and LOVED it. I think it has a limited release and is in theaters right now. Has anyone seen it?

This is a killer on the loose movie.
While looks good, I don't believe it should be listed in "Christian movies."

But thanks for the suggestion. Will watch for it.

makes me wonder if the Dr from t.v. series(ame name) finally went crazy and is the killer? Just wondering.

Can't tell if you're kidding or not with the last line, but, no, it's based on a Christian thriller book, not the TV show. :)

And I wouldn't write the movie off because of its R rating... The Passion of the Christ also had an R rating. Like I said...I haven't seen the movie.

Though there are some really bad ones such as the atrocious Left Behind films from Cloud Ten Pictures,(loved the 12-book fiction series, however, even though unscriptural)as you can tell by the length of my list,I think there are several wonderful Christian films!

Flywheel (by the same church group who did Facing The Giants and Fireproof)
Facing The Giants (the newest favorite with Flywheel)
Ushpizin(Israeli- English subtitled)
Beyond the Gates of Splendor

The Ultimate Gift
Love Comes Softly
Love's Enduring Promise
Love's Long Journey
Love's Abiding Joy
Love's Unending Legacy
Love's Unfolding Dream
Saving Sarah Cain
A Man Called Peter
The Perfect Stranger
The Other Side Of Heaven
King Of Kings
Disney's Prince Of Egypt
The Maldonado Miracle
Time Changer
Joshua
Amazing Grace(history of the famous Hymn)
The Moment After
Road To Redemption
Chronicles Of Narnia
Judgement (the only film that I have ever liked by Cloud Ten Pictures who made the atrocious Left Behind films!)
St. Patrick: The Irish Legend
The Miracle Of Marcelino
One Night With The King
Luther
The Hiding Place
Sophie Scholl - The Final Days
Amen (warning,a black eye on the Catholic church over the Holocaust)
Paper Clips
The Robe
The Chosen
The Last Sin Eater
Be Still:And know That I Am God
The Second Chance (the cursing pastor turned me completely off this one!)

Christian comedy:

Thou Shalt Laugh(Christan stand up Comedy)
Be Afraid... Be Very Afraid ~Chonda Pierce (Christian Comedy)
Have I Got a Story For You ~Chonda Pierce (Christian Comedy)

Although rated R, the Passion of the Christ is the best Christian movie I've ever seen.

If you are ok with horror themes + courtroom drama, The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

The Lord of the Rings has much Christian symbolism, like the power of humility of Hobbits, good vs. evil, etc...
