CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My wife and I adopted our 2yr old son from Russia in April of this year. It took us 6 months start to finish, The Lord really moved quickly for us in this process, it was the fastest Russian adoption our agency ever had. We are all still adjusting, it's hard at times being 1st time parents, but it has been a very joyful experience. I highly recommend adoption to anyone wanting to have children.

HE Taught Me To Fish!!!
I have been draggin my feet a bit with adoption too. My wife is thrilled about it but it is difficult to "give up" on the idea of having natural children. It is shameful to admit as I was adopted myself... I hope we are one of the couples who adopt then wind up pregnant!! Would be AWESOME!

Redeemed of the Lord
My husband and I have been married a very long time. We have a birth son who is 18 years old, a son who we adopted at the age of 6 and is now 16 (domestic) and two girls from China, ages 7 and 3. We are definitely a success story. God planned this family from the beginning before we were even aware of it. He has taught me so much about his love for us through adoption. It is truly a miracle to watch God's healing power in the lives of these little ones. He is amazing!!!
