Does anybody know anything about an organisation called 'The Success University'? Been hearing quite a bit about them lately. They seem to be recruiting quite a lot in the UK now and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. Are they a legitimate organization offering legitimate business opportunities? You hear of so many get rich quick schemes where people get sucked in and ripped off. But maybe this one is not like that. Would be grateful for some info from anyone who knows anything about them, especially if it is from personal experience.

Would this be it?

It has all the hallmarks of an overpriced marketing ploy. It offers:
If you don't have time to study... hours and hours to read a good book on success... you're in luck! In just 10 to 15 minutes a day, you can achieve mastery in all the most important success areas by registering for these achievement courses.

This kind of claim is obvious rubbish. You won't achieve mastery of anything more important than picking your nose in 15 mins per day.
This kind of approach is typical of organisations who are looking to lure the vulnerable, gullible and desperate. People who unquestioningly believe statements like these are exactly the sort of mug punters these guys want to sign up. I would avoid this thing like a large dog turd on the pavement, swerving widely and holding my nose.
Just IMHO, of course... ;)

I searched some more links on this thing. It looks like another MLM scheme. You join, then make money by recruiting others. Everybody gets rich. Unfortunately the plan fails when, inevitably, the supply of suckers runs out. Judging by the number of people with websites trying to recruit, it must have reached that point already.
If you want to judge it, I would advise you to look up MLM (multilevel marketing, or network marketing) on the web, you can find many sites explaining the pitfalls.
All of these schemes try to sell themselves using similar pitches.
  • They like to claim to be the next Big Thing, and if you don't invest now you will lose out on the opportunity of a lifetime
  • Another theme is duplication - they have perfected a method which has made them rich, so if you follow their example , you will become rich too
  • Many of the webpages about MLMs are written by people claiming to be making huge incomes, none of which are verifiable
These schemes exploit the fact that people want to believe in them - the lure of big rewards for little effort is hard to resist. They seem to creep out of the woodwork in times of recession, when people are financially stretched and looking for new sources of income.
