CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Definitely seems they could have chosen a better title than "Mature" singles

I like mature too.
We could have been the grown up singles, no........ that wouldn't work cuz the younger singles are technically grown ups too. We could be the Free from age it doesn't matter any more singles, but it's kind of a long title. And we already have the "over" (insert age) sections.....we could be the "were not 21 any more section, but that's kind of vague. ...........Yeah I think I like "Mature" the best so far LOL

I was reading the sub-forum title "Mature Singles" and I was thinking "well, can you imagine that! I'm still single but I sure ain't very mature!"
I may grow old but I'll never grow up!
I guess the term 'mature' is usually associated with an older variety of something/some group . But getting older doesn't always equate to maturity and wisdom , for, I know lots of people in the late 50's whos Lifestyle speaks volumes about unwise and immature choices.
