Anyone make their own stuffed bears? I would like to start this type of project, and probably something not too complicated at first. Anyone have some suggestions/advice?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey rose! Soory have no advice for you just wanna join in your request, any stuffed bears? I have been wanting to make some for a loooong time! I am a bear nut!!

Hi Deornie! Yeah, I would love to make my own (just because I have about 200 stuffed bears, I always have room for more!)... and I have made soft dolls, but never tried the bears, which is something that would surely be fun!

I have crocheted 4 or so, using a couple of different patterns. It was fun, the one I like the most was out of yarn that drove me insane to crochet. As for sewing a bear, nope, never done that.

Oh well Where I live we dont have such shops... and it we had it would be to expensive to buy there... wonder if anyone has any patters to share? Well maybe for knitted or crocheted bears at least????
