  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I agree with what Chriswoods83 said. I mean, yeah there's nothing wrong with a guy having a lot of girl friends. ..It only depends on the way you treat em. As long as you don't play around with their hearts & emos and they understand the same, then it's all cool.

Alternately, make sure they don't play around with your 'hearts & emos.' I'm sure that all of your girl friends can't be damsels in distress 24/7.

No don't think i'm gay. I like girls. no i don't have an sexual relationship with any of them. See have always had mor girls and friends then guys as friends. I feel like i can trust them more. i would never think about hurting them. I hate when guys mess with girls hearts and emotions. Yeah i know that it shouldn't be a question but my guys friends thinks its weird and i never get invited to hang out with them so thats why i asked. Do you have any advice for me.

Thanks

There is nothing wrong with having lots of girl friends. I have tons of them. I treat them no different then I treat my guy friends. When I joke around With my girlfriends, I know where my limits are. I got royally burned by trying to go out with one of my real close girl friends. Didn't work, and it almost ruined our friendship. But we both got over it. So you have to be really careful on how you are with thier emotions, because they can get really emotional on you. Be careful guys.

I don't think you're gay, it's just society tends to view guys who hang around girls to be gay or something, at least at my school. I don't think that though. I am a girl who prefers to hang around mostly boys, since my mom's friends all had boys, so I grew up playing with them. People think I'm dating all these boys, which I find to be really annoying, so I know a bit about what you're going through.

There isn't anything wrong with having friends of the opposite sex, in my opinion. Most of my friends are males, with only a few really close female companions. I find that the guys I hang out with are much more trustworthy than alot of girls that I know and I appreciate the fact that they don't treat me any different from their other friends. Not only that, but having both male and female friends really allows you to look at problems, especially relationship problems, from all angles that you might have missed if you had kept your associations to one sex.
Just my 2 cents.

That's cool then. The only thing that I see as weird is that your guy friends don't hanging out w/ u and ur chick friends too. Guess that's where they miss out. Don't let soceity's ideas of "norms" get to you, becuz they can't even keep their own norms. It's better to have good friends that you can trust, than to have society's idea of "cool" or "normal" friends that aren't trustworthy nor easy to talk to.
