  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I don't know if there is already a thread like this...

Hey, I'd like some ideas of things couples can to do outside the house (as opposed to sitting on the couch watching movies). Ideas that are cheap is a plus, too!

Here we can go bowling, hiking, to the farmers market, to the beach... Are there any creative things to do?

Just a word of caution: I would actually advise NOT going to the beach together. My ex-boyfriend and I did it, and it ended up being a huge temptation for both of us. The combination of a lot of skin being exposed (even though my bathing suit is fairly conservative), being wet, etc... Let's just say, it was hard for both of us to keep pure thoughs :(

how about preparing a picnic and then picnicking in the countryside or local park if the weather is good ? do you have any pets/ dogs you can take walking together ? do you like art ? maybe you can go out walking and sketch things together, sketch/ art pads arent that expensive

a while ago my partner and i were thinking of adopting a pet from a local animal shelter, we never actually found a suitable pet but it was a lovely day out visiting all the animals...are there any museums or places of interest you can visit for free in your local area ? that could be fun too !

heh. i made a post like this on my grand am owners club forum. here are some responses I got that i thought would be fun. Go to Wal-Mart and ride the bikes. around here we have $1 a game bowling nights. I suck at bowling, but its a cheap way to spend time together and have some fun watching each other suck at a game... go with a group of people though. tis even more fun then :D you could go to a park and act like little kids. although that might get boring kinda quickly... at least to me. go to a laserquest or laserzone place and play laser tag. its fun. not really inexpensive but still fun. play rummy 300,000 if your realllllllllllllllllly bored. or get together with another couple and have a euchre tournament! if it snows where you live, like it does in Michigan here. go for a walk when its snowing really hard out, then go back inside for hot chocolate and a movie. anyways. those are some of the things people on the grand am forums said. not bad ideas either. me and Sofia played rummy for like an hour and a half one night when we were really bored. although her mom was mad because we were on their basement floor even though its carpeted. heh.
