Is it okay to learn on your own when doing school assignments?

It seems to me that learning is all about developing the initiative to learn, rather than just submitting mindlessly by rote.

There is no such learning except the solitary. Unless you have the drive in yourself to learn it, then it will never be learned.

Depends. Some are able to learn more on their own while others need more help. Some learn by listening, reading, and others have to be shown.

Then there’s learning disabilities which are a whole other ball game.

I noticed this was asked in parenting. If you do have or ever have children I strongly believe it is up to the parent to teach them certain things.
