Hey everyone! Lovely to speak to you all again
finally have something a bit more lighthearted (but not too carefree, don't get your hopes up
) to talk about.
I'm in the nerds dreamland scenario where I get to study games. Video games. (Shaken, not stirred). Bit of a difference if what everyone expected of me (vet or doctor) but extremely fun and interesting.
I actually have a few questions to some of you more "technologically savvy" people out there. ( will also be posting a more advice based thing on the advice forums)
Little bit of background knowledge: I'm incredibly interested in the design of games in relation to psychology. I even plan on getting my Phd in psychology in relation to games, and my main area of focus (or areas, really) is both in violence in games and hyper sexualisation if females in games and the psychological effects of these aspects.
A) do you find it strange that a Christian would be interested in this?
B) do you think it's ok for a Christian to be doing this as her main study focus?
I know people regard violence in games and enjoying this is a sin, but I want to know directly what you guys think, as it's also part of my off-to-the-side study
Ps: bioshock infinite (though classes as sinful) is amazing!!
Lots of love always,
-Cyp
