Struggling

I don't think I'm okay. No matter how hard I laugh with my friends there's still this deep sadness.
I just don't fee like doing anything. I'll be dragging myself to work soon despite feeling this way.
Idk, I'm doing well for myself I guess but my depression is situational.

But I do fear what if ive been in my situation so long there's no fixing my mind?

Idk why but writing what I wrote above made me happy. Id wonder if its possible to be happy without necessities or luxuries but then I thought a lot of people like celebrities have what would make 99% of the world happy and they still aren't. Some have drug and martial issues despite being rich and famous.

I think i'll get through this.

It all depends how you let these depressive thoughts effect you. As someone who suffers from a depressive illness i know full well that depression lies about God, ourselves and our neighbours all the time. If we believe those lies our misery will grow and depression will get on top of us.

However if we fight our depressive thoughts with the truth of God's love, even if we don't feel any good life, but we hold onto the truth of God' love, then we grow stronger than depression and we can even thank God for the things we have learned fighting depression.

The bible says what you sow in your heart you will harvest in your life. So sow a lot of love, kindness, gentleness, endurance, long suffering, patience, thankfulness and joy in your heart and you will harvest such good life in daily life.

God's blessings fighting bad life.

That's right, luxuries and fame and all kinds of worldly bliss won't make us happy. Our heart is where our treasure is. If our treasure is money and fame and power, we won't be satisfied, and the more we get the less we're satisfied with what we have.

If our treasure is Christ, and with Him everlasting life, love, peace, hope and truth, we can be the poorest and outwardly most lowliest of all, but we will have more than enough and we wouldn't want to trade it away. When we see what we have as a blessing, no matter how little or much it is, we can easily give to others from what we have, and in our heart we're not slaves to worldly things.
