I just found out a friend of mine died 6 months ago, we had been out of contact for a while, we would get together once a year and just pick up where we left off.

She was gay and a Jew and i am struggling to think where my friend ended up. She help me many time and i think saved my life a few times. She was always very kind to me and my wife and in fact she was the one who got me and my wife together. I know Jesus said if You welcome one of these my little ones you welcome me. My friend welcome me and my wife. so could it be she welcomed Jesus to?

Did i fail my friend? i don't understand, She was always good to us. I know God knows of her deeds. i know My God will do all He can. Just hurt i guess.

Hey Blue, sorry to hear about your friend. I am reminded of the heart of Jesus when his friend Lazarus died...he wept. Your feelings and emotions for your friend are legitimate and it is okay to hurt. However, having witnessed to and prayed for your friend, you most certainly have not failed. Continue prayerfully my friend and God will supply for you grace upon grace during this time.
Yours in Christ,
John

Sorry for your loss Blue.

God's mercy abounds and we know it is not his Will that any should perish.

6months is a long time,By grace she had to have been called to repent and accept the Lord at a time in her life, these last six months may have been that time.

You may have by your being a Christian been a witness.
It does not always take a sermon we are the light of the world and our light shines.
you plant the seed and another waters it and brings fourth a harvest.

God bless

We are all sorry to hear of your loss. We have many friends in this world who are nice and we are thankful for them. God also loves all souls and paid a great price to redeem all who will receive His "...so great salvation" in His Son ---"he that has the Son has life (eternal), and he that has not the Son of God has not (that) life", God tells us.

It is all a simple matter of a personal relationship with the Savior or not. Perhaps your friend did repent and receive the Lord Jesus, the Christ of God, before leaving this world --we cannot always be sure of one's personal experience.
