First of all. I would like to remind you that you are not alone. There's a whole forum full of depresses people. We are all in this - whether that means by currently being depressed, healing from depression, or having survived through it. I understand you 100%. I know what is like to feel weak, debilitated, and with every inch of hope and energy to move forward zapped from your very soul. What is this the result of? A life of deception or disillusion. This happens when we believe the devil and his accomplices for a life of misery. Thats when the devil wins and that's when he is truly happy. This is because the truth is that the devil is TERRIFIED of us and our God-given destiny and potential. The devil tries hard to deceive us because he knows that when we live in alignment with God's Word, there is nothing we can't do. We defy all odds, all societal expectations, and all statistics. Our God is greater than our problems. It is time for you to realize this. I will be very honest. Its going to take a lot of work for your to heal. Two forces will be involved in this process: God and yourself. But really, who else do you need anyways? God is everything. You've got to want health and peace really bad and I know you do!!!!! Start seeking God's truth. Pray hard for as many times as you need to. Search different verses on different issues (anger, jealousy, hate, unforgivessness, forgiveness, peace, love. Etc). Look at different videos and different sermons. Focus ur time and energy on healing and seeking the truth. You got this!!! I believe in you. God bless you friend

This is going to be hard for you, but I am asking you to quit feeling sorry for yourself and to train your brain to think only positive thoughts. It was hard for me at first to overcome the negative thoughts and feelings, but you know what? I did it. It took me months, but I did it -- and overcame my depression. Nowadays I feel pretty normal inside.

Train yourself to think positively and make some changes to your lifestyle, like taking up a hobby. That is what cured me of my depression, and believe me, it was not the pills that the doctor gave me.

In order to do that, think of something that makes you smile or happy and keep thinking about it. If the thought wears out or goes away, think of something else that makes you happy or makes you smile.

Jesus can get you through this my dear. He is awesome. Rebuild your inner life on His promises to you and fight the lies of your depression with His good news. It is an enormous battle but it can be done.

God's loving truth is what can get you through. Make these your truths rather than the realities of depression.
