Struggles

Yesterday, I was trying to memorize a Bible verse Isaiah 12:2. As I was repeating the verse my voice began to drop and I started shaking. Then I lost control of my words and something took control of my mouth and told me that it didn't want me to say the verse. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I listened to a rap song (Chiraq ). I was repeating the lyrics. All of a sudden, my voice dropped and I lost control of my words

I have difficulty with prayer. When I pray at home I feel constriction around my voice. I don’t say much but I always recite a Bible verse or two. When my pastors ask church to pray in the Spirit I can't because if I try something will take control of my voice and speak gibberish.



I feel like limited because of I what I face. I take my medication and my symptoms still manifest.

Keep praying. The Lord's prayer when you wake up and before you go to sleep.

If you would like to know a very short but powerful prayer, "Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner".

Maybe writing prayers can help. I have schizoaffective disorder(similar to schizophrenia) which gives me big focus problems like yours. Writing helps me a lot sometimes. Also the Bible says the Holy Spirit prays for us when we are struggling with prayer. God is with you in every step of this fight and if your faith is like the mustard seed, persistently growing you'll get better little by little.
