At any rate, in addition to the other thread started under this topic... our compromises and our ignorance to sexual indulgences every day contribute to our failures. Think of a alcoholic who cannot take a drop of liquor or it's off the wagon and into the gutter for days and week on end.
You have greater will power than you know. But you have to use it far sooner than you think. At a level of sexuality that most are desensitized to and the world scoffs at and mocks when you try to point out it is in fact sexuality.
Advertisement would flounder without it. Sex sells, people say. But when you point out what it is that is actually sex, they scoff. They mock. And believers and strugglers with addiction join in and mock or shoot down the messenger.
But sex and sexuality are thrust upon us all almost continuously. And with our buttons being pushed sometimes subliminally sometimes brazenly all the time it throws us into addiction and moral failure and dysfunction or increasing perversion.
This is not passing off blame. This is identifying the problem. Homes are wrecked. Lives ruined. So people can have their peep shows...
God says not to indulge or be exposed to these things for a very good reason. For lots of good reasons. But it ruins lives. And that's the biggest reason. It ruins many many lives.
