struggles with attraction to women

I need prayer very badly. I am being strongly tempted towards homosexuality. I even went through to the point of filling out a profile on a dating site as a lesbian. Please please pray for me. God sent me a warning through a friend, who gave me a reality check. It's so hard...I love God very very much, but I am attracted to women. I feel disgusted towards men (sexually) I was at the point where I was happy being single, I wasn't attracted to women, I wasn't going to have sex until I was married. Then I just start getting sexual dreams about women. I don't know....please just pray for me and if anybody can relate to what I am going through...I would like somebody to talk to. Thank you.

I can very much relate, sweetie, and I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this.
Please remember that it is not your fault you are tempted, nor is temptation a sin itself. What matters id how you deal with it.. and I won't pretend that is easy... but it is possible.
I'm married, have been for almost 20 years, and the feelings haven't changed, but I do have 4 wonderful children, which makes it worthwhile in many ways.

Do you have anyone you can talk to about this in real life? You need support and understanding, and whilst you can find that online, a solid person to talk to is important.

Ashley dear, I dont know if you want to hear from a man about now, but if it helps, I am praying for you and your pain.

God doesnt give us any more than we can take, although most would question that when they are the one in the skillet. Just please remember that just as you are you are loved like you are the only lady on earth.

being tempted is no sin. We all are daily over something. all of us.

You are not alone as long as you are with us and never alone because Jesus is always with you.
