Scripture mentions that God will send a strong delusion to the people who reject the gospel. I believe that this will happen after the rapture, during the tribulation. 2 Thess 2: 10-12," They received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this, God shall send them a strong delusion that they should beleive the lie". I believe that this ' lie' will be presented by the Antichrist during the tribulation . He will show people lying signs and wonders. Romans 1:21," Although they claimed to be wise, they became a fool...". Romans 1:28," God gave them over to a depraved mind...".

However, God gives people a free gift of salvation for anyone who accepts it. Eph 2:8-9," By grace you have been saved through faith. It is a gift from God...". People need to receive this free gift of salvation before it is too late. Yes, some will be saved during the tribulation, but I believe that most people who have heard the gospel and rejected it before the tribulation will in fact believe 'the lie'.

Come to the truth of the gospel now!

The strong delusion will not be just for people who reject the Gosple...For some if not most,it's going to be to their benefit that they were given the strong delusion....

You are absolutely correct. There will be some tribulation saints (probably Gentiles) who will believe the Eternal Gospel as preached by the flying angel, and because they will refuse the mark of the Beast, they will be martyred. There will also be a believing remant of Jews preserved by God in the wilderness during this time. But the vast majority of humanity will be under strong delusion, and therefore eternally damned.

Where did you get the idea that there would be any salvation during or after the rapture for the unbeliever?

Scripture states that the rapture occurs on the Day of the Lord at the universal resurrection of the dead. There is no more 'time' after the Rapture. The rapture is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to Judge the Living and the Dead. The rapture is the End. The rapture is the Last Trump. The rapture is the Day of the Lord, the universal resurrection of the dead. There is no salvation after the universal resurrection of the dead, because everyone is resurrected and Christ has come to judge the living and the dead. It's over at the rapture. There is nothing for this earth but to be destroyed by fire and pass away with a great noise as Peter writes.

The only Biblical passage ever using the word 'rapture' said:
13 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the restwho have no hope.v 14 Since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep throughy Jesus. 15For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly not go ahead those who have fallen asleep.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are still alive will be raptured together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. 18Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Yet about the times and the seasons: brothers, you do not need anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction comes on them, like birth pains come on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in the dark, for this day to overtake you like a thief. -- 1 Thess. 4:13-5:3

Why do you insist that this is still FUTURE? Josephus plainly tells us that this lie - this delusion was the fact that the terrorist Zealots falsely believed that God would deliver them if a war broke out between the Jews and the Romans. This is the number one reason why the rebellion was so costly in terms of casualties. Titus came with an army of about 80,000 soldiers. Estimates of the Zealots was around 29,000. They were outnumbered over two to one.

Read Josephus - the history is all there.

Actually the Rapture occurs before the setting up of the Abomination of Desolation, otherwise the entire Church would be martyred by the Beast or the Antichrist. And there are many events on earth after the Rapture.

Read the Bible rather than Josephus. The strong delusion is at the time that Satan takes complete control of the earth for 3 1/2 years because the Holy Spirit is not on earth to hold him down. Study 2 Thess 2 carefully.

From Wikipedia and I quote:

Begging the question means "assuming the conclusion (of an argument)", a type of circular reasoning. This is an informal fallacy where the conclusion that one is attempting to prove is included in the initial premise of an argument, often in an indirect way that conceals this fact.[1]

The term "begging the question" originated in the 16th century as a mistranslation of Latin petitio principii "assuming the initial point".[2] In modern vernacular usage, "to beg the question" is sometimes also used to mean "to raise the question" (as in "This begs the question of whether...") or "to dodge the question".[2] This usage is often proscribed.[3]

Open your eyes; there are people suffering from strong delusions most everywhere. It is here and now as well as into whatever future this world has.
This is a very specific strong delusion connected with the Antichrist. Today the Gospel is still being preached and God desires the salvation of all. Those who resist and reject the truth will be deluded to the point of worshipping the Abomination of Desolation and acknowledging the rule of the Antichrist. It is all connected in 2 Thess 2. Also study Daniel and Revelation for the complete picture before responding.

I agree in part; but Paul was speaking in present and near tense in 2 Thess 2. He begins:

"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand." -- 2Th 2:1-2 KJV

The difference may be that, you believe Paul was speaking directly to you in that statement, while I believe he was speaking to the first-century Church at Thessalonica.

Actually this strong delusion is dealing with the time of the end, the tribulation. In this passage. 2 Thess 1-12 mentions ' the man of sin' who is known as the Antichrist . For example, in verse 4,"He will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped so that he sets himself up in Gods temple , proclaiming himself to be God".

Yes, there are strong delusions now in the world ,however this passage is specifically about ' the lie' in which the Antichrist will present during the tribulation. We are not told in scripture exactly what ' the lie' is, but many people will be decieved.

Also, note that their is a literal temple mentioned in the passage. There is no temple built yet, but notice that he , the antichrist, will be standing in it. I believe that this tribulation temple will actually be built at the beginning of the tribulation, because at the 3 1\2 year mark according to The book of Daniel and revelation, it will be desecrated.

The reason the literal temple is mentioned is because this passage was about what happened in the 60s in 1st century Judea. Whether it has any ongoing application is the subject of real theology, not the junk-eschatology that is found here.

As we know from this month's news, brought to you by Islam, there is no prospect for putting a temple on the al Aqsa site. Just vaporisation if attempted.

The strong delusion, is that the weight of the world is light.

Even now the children are suffering, that the tolerance of men may reach a tipping point.

Soon even salt will seem a burden, to those that have not heard the Word.

This is certainly not an interpretation of any Scripture. Sounds "New Age".

II Thessalonians 2:11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion , that they should a lie;"So what is the lie?
The lie will be that Satan will claim to be God, and the Antichrist will claim to be Christ AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BELIEVE THEM. Study Daniel, 2 Thessalonians and Revelation. You don't have to take anyone's word for it. It is right there in Scripture.
