CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tarika, in thinking about your prayer request I'm reminded of the verse: "In this world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world". (John 16:33)
Father, I thank You that it's by Your joy and strength that we live and move and have our being, it's only in You. You teach us to depend on You for the answers, and what better way is there? For Your ways are not our ways and Your thoughts are higher than ours. I pray that You give Tarika Your divine wisdom in dealing with work, I pray favor in the workplace, with co-workers and employer(s) alike. I also pray a clear mind, de-clutter her mind from all negativity and worry and replace those with hope and focus so that she can do her job well and with excellence. And God, I do pray that You reveal to her where exactly You want her to be and what You want her to be doing, concerning work, concerning ministry, everything. Thank You Father that You hear us, and come to our aid when we call on You.

I'm praying for you. Stress is an everyday battle in my life, but I know with the strength from God, I can overcome "One Day At A Time". The Lord has a plan for each of us, and only he knows what that plan is. I tell myself God only expects us to handle one day at a time.
Dear Heavenly Father please take away the burdens and stress. We give you all the Glory

Dear Lord I pray that you help our dear sister not be overwhelmed by the stresses at work, please help her not tire out, as you promised in Isaiah 40 v 28 - 31 Lift her high and renew her strength, teach her to rely on you more and in your mighty strength to keep going. Please put new energy and vitality into her body and renew her spirit in Jesus name Amen.

From Matthew, chapter 6:
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
