well man i love ya and i dont mean this in a critical way or as an attack,
but that might be true if people on the streets where the only people who need the Lord and need ministry.
but even us who are saved and arent on the streets, we need preaching too, we need pastors and people who arent on the streets but in our churchs who cover and feed the flock... not just go find more sheep.
and even then, there are lots of sinners youll never find on the streets.
there is a calling to be on the streets,
and there is a calling to be in the churchs,
there is work to be done in the altars and pews of the church too.
hebrews 10.25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, ... exhorting one another, and so much the more as ye the day approaching.
acts 1.2
and when the day of pentecost was fully come, they were ALL with ONE ACCORD... IN ONE PLACE!
where 2 are gathered together in his name, he is there in the midst of them.
there is a work to be done in the churches of america, and there is power in unity of mind and place.
there are still sermons on the mount to be preached, there are still loves of bread and fishes that need to be broken and distributed to groups of people.
the bible says men will be drawn to God... where will people go when they wake up one morning and feel the need to talk to a man of God or gather with people of God, becuase they are afraid for the condition of their souls? a place, a local church.
there are simply diffrent gifts and callings,
evangelising isnt being a pastor... and pastoring isnt evangelising...
God isnt just a God of the masses... and if you dont have God with 10 people then you wont have God with 10,000... but God does want to save the masses, and praise God for meetings were people come and gather themselves together under the name of God and thousands give their lives back to Christ at one time after hearing a single message.
HEAVON FULL AND HELL EMPTY!
and it wont be done by just talking to people one at a time on the streets, most of the population isnt on the streets.
praise God for street ministry, but that is not the only work God is doing.
people who think poverty and dishevelment is the only true version of Christ are far from humble.
