One of the things my company does is help relocate family's from areas that are unsafe to areas that are the opposite. One of the questions I get a lot is how do you get the info on where to suggest people move.

One of my greatest assets besides actual boots on the ground is a book called "Startegic Relocation" by Joel Skousen the book lists all 50 states and gives them scores on all kinds on interesting facts about the state. The book covers almost everything you can imagine from nuclear power plants to gun laws and then gives each state a 1 through 5 star rating and explains how the numbers flesh out.

It was one of the many factors besides Gods urging that made me move to North Idaho. I highly recommend the book to anyone seeking a safer place to raise their family or just get themsleves moved to start a new life.

I have heard of a number of people who feel the Lord has told them to get out of the US altogether. Others feel they have been told to move to certain parts of the country. At least 2 people who some consider "prophets" claim the Spirit has told them to wait for the signal to get away from the east coast.
We have plans to move to our son's rural homestead miles away from any city.
If the Lord tells you... then move.
If common sense tells you.. then weigh all the factors and make the decision.
