Beloved ones, let us perceive the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is what we have heard from our Lord Jesus Christ:
“And A STRANGER will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of STRANGERS.”
John 10:5 KJV
How may we understand “a stranger or strangers” that has been spoken of
by our Lord ? How shall we not follow a stranger but flee from him?How do we know know the voice of strangers and not follow them but flee from them?
This is what we have heard from apostle Paul:
“that at that time ye were WITHOUT CHRIST , being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and STRANGERS FROM THE COVENANTS OF PROMISE, having no hope, and without God in the world:”
Ephesians 2:12 KJV
We perceive that a stranger is he who follows NOT the covenants of promise but flees from the covenants of promise. So strangers are the voice of those who follow not the covenants of promise.
So we should not be a stranger to the covenants of promise, for we who are acquainted with the covenants of promise are we who are with Christ.
So we should know that the voice of those strangers or those who disregard the covenants of promise, that we do not follow them but flee from them.
But we should follow the covenants of promise, that we follow Christ, that we listen to His voice.
For we also heard:
“NOW, therefore, YOU ARE NO LONGER STRANGERS and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,”
Ephesians 2:19 NKJV
Also, we heard:
“For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we WAKE OR SLEEP, we should live together with Him.”
I Thessalonians 5:9-10 NKJV
Beloved ones, we should not be STRANGERS anymore, that we should not listen voice that disregard the covenants of promise whether we wake or sleep, but we should regard the covenants of promise, for we are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, for we are with Christ.
For fellow citizens with the saints,
whether we wake or sleep, that we should live together with Christ, that regard the covenants of promise, follow Christ and listen to His voice.
We who listen His voice are who follow His covenant, that we have hope, that we have God.
To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ. Amen
