just today, i saw THREE different people broke down in their cars in the middle of the road

in the past two weeks maybe, i've seen like 15 occurrences of this...more in these past two weeks than ever in my 25 years of life!

ALL in the middle of the road with their emergency lights on

the first two i saw this morning i drove by...i don't know how i could help, i don't have any jumper cables or a working cellphone

it actually ANNOYED me like god was trying to tell me something but never warned me ahead of time of this

i cussed at god about it even but then i come upon a third person like that!

for me, this is bizzarre and riotous, trying to figure out what it means

i've NEVER had this happen before...three people in one day, all in the middle of the road, all with their emergency lights on of course...ESPECIALLY after i just got done telling god to STOP letting me see something like that...He didn't...i find this annoying/spiteful/interesting all at once

Maybe it's a reminder to do maintenance on your own? Check your oil, etc. Pray for the stranded people. And spend ten bucks on jumper cables! Thus saith...

I wonder also if it's a computer glitch within the cars -- you know how the check engine light is for diagnostics.

Or maybe people's GPS stopped working and they got lost, lol.

Microsoft Outlook had an outage today too. The world is continually fending of cyberattacks, so it's not as unusual as it sounds to have cyber failures.

Also if you're wondering if God is giving you some hints, look at your windshield sticker. People always forget to get their cars inspected on time.

the main thing here is i feel REALLY BAD for people in such situations

i wanted to help the first two people but couldn't...said what i said to god about it...then on my way home, come across a THIRD person!

it doesn't seem like coincidence to me

i tried to help the third lady this time but luckily we were near a fire station and some Fire Men helped her

again, i don't know exactly WHAT specifically i could do in said situation

it's really tricky when someone is broke down IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!

it's just really weird

i have COMPASSION though for sure

He may be prodding you to spiritually "get prepared to help others" that you run acrossed that have stopped advancing on life's road due to their brokenness. After all, we are here to be "good Samaritans" along the road. (Luke 10:25-37)...and to lift one another up when we are "down".

first, i don't mean to be rude ... but when people cus at people how does the other person generally respond ... perhaps the Lord is trying to tell you something ... we don't tell God anything ... He is the decider of things ... i am extremely disturbed at calling God spiteful ... which is ironic, in itself, since calling names is spitefal ...

now ... what popped into my head ... immediately! was something i used to tell my kids ... do you need a tune-up ... might want to consider it ... is that from the Lord? ... i have no idea, but it wouldn't surprise me ...

I'm not afraid to be honest with the Lord.

I'm frustrated as hell with life right now and He's going to have to deal with it!

He appreciates our raw honesty (truth comes before repentance) and He is big enough and gracious enough to handle your emotions and frustration, however He deserves our honor and respect always...even if we aren't feeling it at the moment. When we aren't honoring His wisdom and love, it is because "we" have fallen short....not Him.

Respecting Him for who He is will be to your own benefit also.(remember the two thieves on the crosses next to him??....note to self="must have faith and respect" no matter how long it takes to "feel" like He has answered you or assisted you.

If you know the scriptures and the Lord, you will know that He uses anything that will get our attention (He will even use a donkey) 2 Peter 2:16 "But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness."

He repeats things (words, images, dreams) whenever we are "blocked" by our own "stuff", when we are needing to understand something He wants us to grasp. What do you think He is saying to you?

THIS. Man have we lost the fear of the LORD as a church. He doesn't do what we want, or we are frustrated with life so we "cuss" God for that? Is that how it works?

Sheesh

that's what i'm trying to figure out

i've been addicted to pornography and masturbation because i'm ALREADY well aware of how bad it is and the need for me to stop is a no-brainer...just because it's HARD doesn't mean i'm EVIL.

i'm SICK of being judged and chastised for something i STRUGGLE with.

it's like god CAN'T see the INNER me or something...thinks i LIKE it when i truly don't.

no need to WITHOLD a JOB from me because i simply STRUGGLE with a sin...that's ridiculous.

He was patient, gracious, and tolerant for you, and for multiple generations of people, why should He do any less for a young one who is still learning to interact with Him?

Rushing to judgment does not cause people to being drawn into His arms.

Four Years,

I thought of another helpful scripture regarding the Lord repeating a call to a person. 1 Samuel 3.

He knows you well Four Years, and He knows what it will take to heal what needs healing, and to free you from what you want to be free of. He is the only one who can do this. Are you getting any backup, support, counseling, or fellowship from other loving Christian people?

I'm not judging anyone. I'm saying that despite our lousy circumstances we need to maintain a healthy respect for the LORD.

"He doesn't do what we want, or we are frustrated with life so we "cuss" God for that? Is that how it works?"

Sometimes people are too angry to give Him the respect due Him...and sometimes they get tired of waiting on Him, sometimes they are too weak to be strong......but you know what......the Lord will still draw His beloved children to Him inspite of their "feelings" and will reveal Himself to them, and then they will know. He is so loving and patient with all of us...beyond measure...

How much more love our Holy Father has for us, than our own earthly father.

He knows your heart FourYears. I've seen Him severely punish people for this type of thing, and then other times I've seen Him comfort people for the exact same thing.. What's the difference? The difference is the person's heart and where the frustration/anger is coming from & why.
"He who is without sin can cast the first stone" .. I don't judge you, I've had some of my own battles with Papa - Each time He responded with loving reassurance and His amazing presence. He looks at the heart and where these things originate & the reasons behind it. We're to work out our own salvation.. I believe you will come through the turmoil you feel in this season and His hand is on your life although I don't think you sense it right now.

If He withheld jobs due to sin, nobody would have a job. Have you ever asked the Lord to show you "where" to apply for work, and then devoted frequent prayer time to it, and was watchful in your dreams? He could show you a building or speak a name to you.

I must say, I laughed pretty hard when I saw this ^_^
With what implications?

1 John 1:8-10
"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

Humble,

I found it humorous because what you said is true, not because I'm making light of sin or making fun of what you said!

Please don't take everything so heart-attack serious. Maybe I'm coming across the wrong way or something...
