I am trying to graph the plot of the parable of the sheep and the goats. And since all of us learned about the five elements story, when I analyze the story this is the graph I get. Clearly the element of parallelism is present with the sheep and the goats exists and it would seem the resolution is given in reverse.

After looking a third time, the Resolution 1 and 2 should be falling actions, with the final resolution being the absolution of the falling actions.

I was wondering anyone else would agree or disagree with this. PLEASE add a qualifying statement or picture as to why or why not.

I don't think Matthew 25:31 is about ministering to Christ.

Jesus was talking about "brothers and sisters of mine" in those verses. In another verse, what Jesus meant by "brothers and sisters" are people who already do the "Will of the Father.

Fast forward to books of St. John, further explains what those verses mean. There are brothers and sisters in need, fellow believers who are struggling (quite often in the context of survival/financial). In Matt 25, our brothers and sisters in faith who are probably starving, in prison, in financial poverty, etc.

Passages of St. John further states that if we have worldly resources to spare and but does not help our brothers and sisters in dire need, it is a sign that we do not love God. Not loving God is still living in the dark.

And what Jesus also said in other passages, you cannot be in between... You will either love or hate God.

The goats are therefore those with resources (or the opportunity to help) but did not help their brothers and sisters in dire need. Their actions reflect their lack of love for God (or hatred of God)

Matthew 25 is NOT a parable!

Jesus' Prophecy of Future Judgment of the NATIONS (ethnos) by the Reigning KING on His Throne...

Matthew 25: 31-46 (NASB)...After the Second Coming
“But when the "Son of Man" comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. (to JUDGE!)
All the NATIONS (ethnos) will be gathered before Him; ...(ethnos = societies, peoples)
and He will separate them (NATIONS (ethnos)) from one another,
as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;
and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, (unbelieving societies / "Nations" = goats)
‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the ETERNAL FIRE which has been prepared for the devil and his angels. ('lake of fire" in Revelation!)...
46 These will go away into ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, (unbelieving societies / "Nations" = goats)
but the righteous (Nations of believers = sheep) into ETERNAL LIFE.”

‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not DO it to one of the least of these, you did not DO it to Me.’
aka
"If you did not serve your fellow man, you did not serve Me."

Back up a Chapter!

Matthew 24:9
“Then they will deliver you (believers) to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all NATIONS because of My name.

Matthew 24:14
This gospel of the kingdom (Divine Messiah has come!) shall be preached in the whole world
as a testimony to all the NATIONS , and THEN "the end" (of the ages) will come.

That does sound really scary, I'll give you that. I would like to refer to a different version and see if we get the same picture:
From Young's literal:
41 Then shall he say also to those on the left hand, Go ye from me, the cursed, to the fire, the age-during, that hath been prepared for the Devil and his messengers;
42 for I did hunger, and ye gave me not to eat; I did thirst, and ye gave me not to drink;
43 a stranger I was, and ye did not receive me; naked, and ye put not around me; infirm, and in prison, and ye did not look after me.
44 `Then shall they answer, they also, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or infirm, or in prison, and we did not minister to thee?
45 `Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of these, the least, ye did [it] not to me.
46 And these shall go away to punishment age-during, but the righteous to life age-during.'

Greek translators simply chose the wrong word. Choosing terms like eternal fire and eternal punishment sounds alot like the doctrine used by some in the early 4th century on that used fear to control the people. Not saying there is a smoking gun but it looks bad.
In verse 41, the word "eternal" is actually the phrase "age-during"
In verse 46 again, eternal is substituted for the literal english equivalent term which is "age-during".
In this light, the passage takes on a new feel, don't you think?

Revelation 1 and 2 are not falling actions, and I would be very wary of attempting to transpose an interpretation over Revelation. There is a running thread in it which is obvious to some. Otherwise, it is blessed for any who keep it, but nothing should be settled before its' time as the warning makes clear at the end of it.

On the parable of the sheep and the goats, it can be easily and safely transposed with the parable of the ten virgins.

Make sense out of that, is my advice.

I will note, in both instances, though few want to believe this (and hope they are not on the receiving end of it!)... that there can be a second chance.

(Unfortunately, there can be many "second chance's", is where people's real problem is.)

(Maybe that will change someday...)

Ecc. 12:5b
...For man goes to his eternal (spritual) home while mourners go about in the street.

to his eternal...Hebrew 5769...`owlam...iii.everlasting, indefinite or unending future, eternity

Matthew 25:41
“Then He will also say to those on His left (unbelieving goat NATION {EHNOS}),
‘Depart from Me, accursed ones,
into the eternal fire (spiritual realm: "lake of fire") which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

the eternal...Greek 166...aiōnios...
I.without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be
II.without beginning
III.without end, never to cease, everlasting

Matthew 13...the doom of UN-believers / "tares"
40 So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the "end of the age".
41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom
all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,
42 and will throw them into the "furnace of fire";
in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then the righteous (believing "wheat") will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears, let him hear.

There are two ETERNAL SPIRITUAL REALMS:
1. Heaven for believers
2. "lake of fire" for UN-believers

1. present with God + angels + saved believers
2. separated from God with unholy 3 + death + Hades
