People were shocked to find the fish with “hands” – and now scientists are even more shocked to find a fish that happens to be a skilled rock climber. It would seem the march of evolution is indeed inexorable. Lithogenes wahari is a type of catfish with specialized pelvic fins that act as gripping “hands” to climb rocks, walls and other terrain. The fish is incredibly rare and the most recent sighting occurred after twenty years of research. Not to sound like I think this picture (or drawing) is a fake, but how much do these guys weigh, anyway?

Notice his feet are making an impression on whatever that is he's walking on?

This looks to me like a scanning electron micrograph (SEM) so he is probably standing on a solid metal SEM stage. That is why he is making no impression on it.

Added in edit I should have said it is almost certainly a SEM picture and as to what they weigh I would say that a little insect like this weighs very little.

I think Dust Mites weigh around 5.3e-5 Grams.

There is a pattern of jumping to conclusions and finding someone to try to belittle on the lightest weight of evidence, isnt there?
