  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

and name him "Wilson" ;)

Thank you, Crossrunner. I was hoping my cinematic allusion would be recognized!!

Just for that, you can visit my island and have your pick of the coconuts. Then we can play volleyball with Wilson.

Is it just me, or did other people think of this too? I would bring a phone that would work that way when I'm done with my "vacation" (when I get sick of being on the island) I could call someone and have them come find me... then I wouldn't be stranded I guess, but hey, something that communicates works, I could also say laptop and e-mail people where I was before the battery dies, and I could ask all of you for help, too, i"m sure. Have a nice day... bu-bye and God Bless, don't forget to smile :D

well my first thought would be a hammock...but that doesn't seem pratical, how about my toolbox, complete with duct tape, a deck of cards, and a pocket size bible. (nowhere in the rules does it say I can't have something that would hold several things)

My first thought was definitely a cell phone! Agree with you there!

The bible is what I would want.

God Bless,

need the fishing pole over bible if you want to catch food in hopes of living for the rescue boat to arrive. can't catch food with the bible. pages would get wet and soggy when you try to clobber the fish over the head with it.

A cell phone wouldn't work. There would be no signal. ;)

i should have voted OTHER and I am changing my answer. EPIRB emergency beacon will signal help from anywhere and some navy from some country will come and get you.

i'd think since "other" can be chosen everyone should choose that unless you want to die on that island!
