CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

EDIT - May I ask what you were taking?
Well since I'm in a high school/college dual enrollment program I'm only allowed to take 3 classes.
I took Public Speaking, Communications I and College Algebra.

Congratulations, that's great news! Keep up the good work.
I was lost in the tidal wave of this world for a long time (15 years) just trying to make sense out of life, do some soul-searching, etc. but it turned slothful for a long time. I'm nearly 30 now and haven't even been to college yet. I'm happy to say that I am now enrolled and have massive hopes for my future, my plan is to do whatever I have to, in order to go to school for 8 years. I no longer have the brain of a 17-year-old and am extremely worried that I wont be able to keep up. Even if I study in all my spare time I'll probably be lucky to get C's let alone all A's. Please pray for me that I'll be able to make it through these hoops of fire okay and come out unharmed on the other side, and with a good career and life so that I can better serve those around me! Again, congratulations on your grades and good work, keep it up.
