This thread is about making your own never-ending story.
The next person has to post a line related to the previous post, thus weaving a yarn.

After the completion of few pages, the story will be compiled in a new thread, if this works out well.

there was a huge castle .....

A castle on a mountain against backdrop of storms. Lightning strikes frequently. A prince trembles in deathly fear of thunder.

Meanwhile, a hunchbacked midget plays dramatic music on a huge pipe organ at the opposite end of the room.

I'll start the next one:

There was an old man, playing in a wheat field...

And then the aliens came.

They picked him up in a ship made of cookies.

.... There were many aliens and weird things in the ship/UFO.

such as cute little fluffy pink bunnies.

The aliens are called Wanathia (from a land made of milk). They brought the man into their ship and strapped him to a strange machine.

"The space chips are ready for launching," one of the fatter ones stated.

*They all ate a ceremonial cookie, a token of good luck back to the milk world*

Just when that ship was about to take off to another world ...

A big red button started blinking...

...And the Celerian vessel, which, as its appearance suggested, had been stalking them the entire time, loomed into view.
