Once I am done with my year of volunteer work I am going to work towards being a storm chaser. If I wasn't volunteering, that's what I would be doing now.

I keep my storm bible with most of the time.
I'v seen 12 up close some fun and others not so fun.
Last year I went threw a F4 that wasnt fun.

My husband and I are hurricane chasers....does that count? We go where the hurricanes hit and do clean-up for the Army Corps and/or FEMA.

I would love to be one, i used to be afraid that a tornado would rip my house apart but thats stupid since i live in montana, i want some adventure. The movie Twister made me want to be one maybe when i get out of high school i'll try it out.

I don't know if I'd want to chase storms. I might want to take pictures but chasing a storm is a bit risky in my book.

I am what you would call a Weather Enthusiast. I love to chase storms of all kinds, although my preferences are tornadoes and hurricanes.

During Hurricane Season, I track hurricanes constantly, and am active on the Fl Hurricane forum. It started as a hobby for me, although I have always been interested in Meteorology.

My Gr. Grandpa was a Meteorologist in the Air Force. I guess this is where I get my special "weather" sense from. I love to watch storms form. I often will sit outside and watch them as they come over the Caloosahatche. I like to point out the cloud formations such as Cumulonimbus and Alto stratus clouds. This was also how I tracked my first F-2 tornado touch down.

So yes, I consider myself a weather hobbyist, weather enthusiast and storm chaser.

I loved living in OK,never seen one but always in tornado watches. been following tornadoes 9 years now..

I absolutely love storm watching. The sound of thunder is so stirring for me, lightening flashes and the whole thing. I love watching the storm cashers program on cable etc..

But what would I chase out this way, a few breezy leaves blowing down the street and some sunbeams? We have wimpy weather. But I like our hot summers

I'd be happy living in a place where I could hear the thunder more than a few times a year.
