My son is a storm chaser. He has been doing it for some time. He has seen quite a few tornadoes. He has even had his footage on ABC and the weather channel. I want to go with him one day. My daughter and son in law chase with him and they have seen tornadoes with him as well. So almost everybody in the immediate family has seen one but me..lol. He is a nut!

never heard of a hurricane chaser. Tornadoes are probably more common than any other natural disaster so those chasers get more publicity. LOL!! I'm from NY originally and I was stationed in Kansas in the army.We had one pass over us and I remember WHAT THE HECK.It got dark and rainy and someone said they saw a funnel but it never came down, it went northward.It must be awesome to see something in power like that, providing you are far enough away from it.
