Keep In mind I'm not accusing anyone of hating, but I know a lot of people really wanna throw stones the minute they hear someone is Gay. This isn't a post to try and convince people what is right and wrong but a call to everyone of all beliefs. God calls us specifically to Love one another, and he does this multiple times through out the Bible. By hating someone for a part of them that only makes up a portion of who they are you are not only hurting them by not giving them a chance but your hurting God because your not following his call to Love, Your also hurting yourself because your not truly understanding why you feel this hatred. Think about why you feel such hate, It could be that something horrible happen to you, and believe me when I tell you that my heart goes out to you and i weep for you.
But think about who God is. God loves you so much that he DIED for you and not only you, BUT EVERYONE! Believers and Unbelievers alike. If we want to truly understand how much God loves us than we would be wise to try to emulate his love, love your enemy, love your neighbor CAN THIS MESSAGE BE CLEARER? I understand, some people believe homosexuality is a sin and that everyone who is gay is going to hell, while some people believe that its okay to be Christian and gay, But this is BESIDES the point! The call still stands and its God's call and by hating others, your disobeying God.
This doesn't mean you just accept every sin and put up with every sin because you'll get someone mad. But you can love people in spite of their sin, You can show them the love God has shown you no matter where they are in their lives, isn't that what Jesus did? I'm not suggesting we become this grey culture that just embraces everything out of fear that by not accepting someone's beliefs, we are not loving them, But I am saying that you can embrace someone for who they REALLY are, even if you believe what they are doing is a sin, they are still people and they still have feelings, they still have a heart that has a story to tell, so listen to it and learn more about them, and if your concerned, tell them so, but do it with love and not with hate. Thats all. Thank you.
