Acts 2:41
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. -- NKJV, bold underline italics added
In one day God added 3,000 souls to the Kingdom.
Why is this not happening today?
One issue that SteadyRock recently brought up was unity - we spend so much time arguing amongst ourselves that we forget the most important issue at hand: There are people going to hell, and we can do nothing but bicker. Isnt that sad?
As a Church (God's Ekklesia), as Gods called out and chosen people, we need to stop shouting and start saving. 3,000 souls will not be added to the Kingdom of God until we are in unity, in one accord.
Acts 2:1
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
The original word accord, in the Greek, is Homothumadon. This means "one mind, one accord, one passion."
We need to ask ourselves this - what is more important, trying to be right in a debate or trying to add more souls to the Kingdom of God?
Just a thought... God Bless, metal.
