Stop getting overhyped for the PS3!

after seeing the preview for "Kill Zone" I'm convinced that it would be possible)..

That preview was CGI (and pretty much bulls..t). People are getting overhyped for PS3.

Remember when Getaway was hyped for the ps2 using prerendered graphics? It didn't look nearly as good when it was released now did it?

also who cares if it will have 7 contollers. (I wonder how my T.V will look with 7 split screens)
anyways, what if the PS3 has blue-ray disks, their games probably won't get filled (unless the games take really much space)
also it will be way more expencive than the Xbox360 and probably the Nintedo Revolution as well.
also I'm sure the vids from the PS3 were just CGs.

Ok...if you don't want us to get hyped about the PS3 then you shouldn't get hyped about the XBox 360. Just because you think the PS3 isn't gonna be all that great as it's supposed to be doesn't mean we need to share your opinions. Besides, someone in the same sub-forum said it is supposed to be $50 less than the XBox 360 (just what I heard on here at least). Your opinion is not greater than anyone elses.

Here's my opinion: from what I've seen of those screenshots of DOA3 and DOA4, the graphics don't seem at ALL that much greater (maybe a very small step). In my opinion, you're getting too hyped about DOA4.

It doesn't matter if that Kill Zone is a cut scene, the machine can easily make those graphics in real time play.

I think both systems are something to get excited about.
For the first time in gaming history the consoles are taking a MEGA jump in power. Instead up jumping to the normal twice the power, the consoles have gone crazy!!!!

man, I'm not telling you NOT to get the PS3 but I didn't noticed gameplay in the vids and all that space in the system and in the blue-ray disks that you may not use at all because imagine how long must it take to develop a long long game.

For the umpteenth time, they weren't videos. They were gameplay. That's what real-time is.

Dunno man, I've got plenty of reasons to be hyped bout the PS3 and zero reasons to be hyped bout Xbox 360.

I just heard at G4 (From the own words of the creator of the Dead or Alive series) that DOA4 will be multiplatform!!! that means it will also be on the PS3

Who knows maybe the graphics for DOA 4 in PS3 will be a lot more better than the one for the X box 360...

Im not an x box fan but I am an DOA fan soo, the news that DOA is going multi platform well aall i can say was Haleluya !

I think both systems are going to be great, but I've just been more of a Sony fan personally. I guess it's because the Playstation 2 had many more games pertaining to my interests then the Xbox. That's not to say that the Xbox had some great games, but my library has many more PS2 games then Xbox. I'm probably going to get both systems, but I'm really looking forward to the PS3. Killzone 2 looks great, but on the Xbox side Perfect Dark is looking really nice too. As far as price, I'm sure it's going to be competitive so one won't blow the other out.

I just bought an original X-Box with 2 controllers, a 160 Gig hard drive, a DVD remote, 70 X-Box games pre-installed and a ton of classic emulated games for the equivalent of $300 US. Who cares about the new systems when you have that???

I doubt it, I mean - You look at Quake 4 or Elder Scrolls 4. They have unbelievably good graphics - Killzone 2's graphics may be a little better, but we shall see. And thats ******** about it being CGs - It's rendered.
