Because my "heart the Lord opened, that I attended unto the things spoken" (Acts 16:14) at this web-site.
God opened my mind to see the truth on some very crucial things to me that were keeping me enslaved in my former church. He used this web-site to help accomplish His will too.
The first crucial thing that kept me enslaved to my former church was that I was taught that water baptism was unto the remission of sins (not repentance) Therefore to attend another church that taught otherwise (almost all churches) was to condemn your soul to hell.
The second thing was the power that OSAS gives to one to enable them to have the confidence to evangelize to anyone! It was very difficult for me to do any kind of evangelism before because the implication of my former doctrine was, won't know we're absolutely saved till we get there. That is no doctrine to be holding on to especially when your on death's door! Horrifying.
Of course there are some other Baptist teachings that God opened my heart to see the truth of, and some teachings that God showed to me to be false that are held in my former church. This why 'Stinker' is now Baptist.
