still smoking

I have smoked for 20 years, It is a terrible habit and I hate it...but it is so hard to stop. I am going to buy the patch today.

I'm praying for you! I used the patch and was able to quit last year after 20 years of smoking, myself! Well, probably only about 18 years of hardcore smoking, but 20 years from the time I first lit up! So, it's possible!! Try to keep busy and keep your faith. Remember, you have the same cravings as when you are smoking, but if you ignore them, they begin to ease up. If you give in, you will *always* have that same craving!
