CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There is no where in the USA where it is legal for medicinal use as far as the federal government is concerned. It is the Feds who determine what Schedule a drug is on. In all 50 states it is a Schedule I drug according to the Feds. It makes no sense to talk about it in terms of the Schedule in states where it is legal in the eyes of those states because the Feds don't recognize that legality. Marinol, however, is a Schedule III drug. Maybe that is what you are thinking of.
Riff is right, though...we have hijacked his thread...though it is an interesting issue, it is taking this thread on a tangent.

You're the one who opened the door for Thing1 (Mary-Jayne) and thing2 (living in grace). Actually, your thread wasn't really hyjacked, unless the subject was strictly you and not the sins you brought up.
