I'm not sure if this would be the proper place or not, but I'd like to propose that Secular creates Stickies for topics that come up quite frequently - or for threads that've been around for several years. I'm pretty sure this had been done in the past, then upon numerous conversions, never had been done again. I think it would make it easier to browse though because sometimes when you're looking for a specific thread, you have to ressurect old ones which can be pretty time-consuming, considering the subject matter you're after.
Stickies I'm proposing:
* New Music You're Excited About (I've noticed this several times over and it would be nice to have only one place to go for new music)
* Last Concert Attended/Upcoming Concerts
* Last Music You Bought (cd, vinyl, ipod, whatever)
* What is Wrong With Secular Music? (to avoid the hum-drum and rigamarole of threads being hijacked by someone with a differing opinion on why secular music should be banned from a Christian's ipod)
I know that in the Sticky on Secular, it mentions that these threads are not allowed here, but I've seen it so often where one person's thread can get completely de-railed due to someone else having a differing opinion which can lead to more thought-provoking posts. It can be said that Secular is a "no debate" zone, yet to the contrary many times people have differing opinions on what is good and what is garbage in regards to music, so naturally this would not be - and hasn't been - a debate-free zone. I think people who post here are generally respectable of other's opinion's, as long as people are posting where they should be.
It's worth a shot.
